Сегодня прошла пресс конференция приуроченная к феноменальному выступлению сборной Республики Молдова на Чемпионате Мира в Таиланде.Такой результат стал настоящей сенсацией для нашей страны. Республика Молдова стала седьмой в общекомандном зачете. Опередив такие страны как Украина, Беларусь, Казахстан, США - сборные которых намного опережали нашу по количеству участников. Но действительно, главное не количество а качество. Пять наших бойцов завоевали призовые места. 2 золота и 3 серебра. Золото завоевали Титика Ливиу и Дука Игорь, а серебром нас порадовали Коваль Мариус, Плешка Георге и Киперь Давид. Только один боец нашей сборной остался без призового места. Ион Унгурян провел 2 победных поединка, но в третьем уступил став пятым.

Чемпионат проходил в Бангкоке со  2-го по 11-е августа. Всего в нем приняло участие 768 спортсменов из 86 стран. Примечательно то, что некоторые страны такие как Турция, Автралия, Россия были представлены сборными в количестве 30 спортсменов. А Республика Молдова всего шестью бойцами, и завоевала при этом пять медалей!!! В очередной раз доказав что мы маленькая, но гордая страна. Мы народ с большим сердцем, и силой воли.

В ходе конференции бойцы рассказали о самых тяжелых моментах выступления, а также поблагодарили родных, близких и всех кто им помогал и поддерживал. 

Такой результат не остался незамеченным и со стороны Дорина Дамир - президента  Ассоциации FEA и WAK-1F RM. Все бойцы участники и тренера получили почетные дипломы и премии за такой выдающийся результат. Отметим что Федерация Таиландского Бокса Муайтай и федерация WAK-1F RM очень тесно сотрудничают, а бойцы являются составной частью обеих структур.  Для самих спортсменов это масштабное поле для развития, ну а потом тем кто решит связать свою карьеру с профессиональным спортом есть все шансы попасть на ринг турниров КОК проводимых в Молдове и за её пределами. Astăzi a avut loc conferința de presă în legătură cu performanța fenomenală a echipei Republicii Moldova la Campionatul Mondial din Tailanda. Un astfel de rezultat constituit o adevărată senzație pentru țara noastră. Republica Moldova s-a situat pe locul 7 în clasamentul pe echipe, depășind așa țări precum Ucraina, Belarus, Kazahstan, SUA – echipele cărora ne depășeau țara cu mult după numărul de participanți. Într-adevăr,  importantă e calitatea, nu cantitatea. Cinci dintre luptătorii noștri au cucerit locuri premiante: două medalii de aur și trei de argint. Au câștigat aur Titica Liviu și Duca Igor, iar cu argint ne-au bucurat Covali Marius, Pleșca Gheorghe și Chiperi David. Doar unul dintre luptătorii noștri a rămas fără loc premiant. Ion Ungurean a petrecut două lupte victorioase, dar în a treia a suferit înfrângere și a devenit al cincilea în clasament. 

Campionatul s-a petrecut în Bangkok în perioada 2-11 august. În total, au participat 768 de sportivi din 86 de țări. Este notabil faptul că unele țări cum ar fi Turcia, Australia, Rusia au fost reprezentate de echipe compuse din câte 30 de sportivi, iar Republica Moldova – doar de 6 luptători și, în ciuda acestui fapt, au obținut cinci medalii!!! Demonstrând, încă o dată, că suntem o țară mică, dar mândră. Suntem un popor cu inima mare și voință. 

În cadrul conferinței, luptătorii au relatat despre cele mai dificile momente din cadrul campionatului, și, de asemenea și –au exprimat recunoștința față de rude, persoane apropiate și toți cei care i-au ajutat și susținut. 

Un astfel de rezultat nu a rămas neobservat nici de Dorin Damir – președintele asociației FEA și WAK – 1F RM. Toți luptătorii participanți și antrenorii au primit diplome de onoare și premii pentru rezultatul lor excepțional.  Trebuie de subliniat faptul că Federația Națională de Box Tailandez Muaythai R.M. și Federația WAK-1F RM cooperează îndeaproape, iar luptătorii fac parte din ambele structuri.

Pentru înseși sportivii, aceasta reprezintă o oportunitate de dezvoltare pe scară largă, iar, ulterior, cei care vor decide să-și lege cariera de sportul profesionist, au toate șansele să intre in ringul KOK în cadrul turneelor din Moldova și de peste hotare. 

Today took place the press conference held in honor of the phenomenal performance of the national team of the Republic of Moldova at the World Championship in Thailand. This result is a real sensation for our country.  The team of the Republic of Moldova came at the seventh place and ahead of such countries as Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and the United States – teams that were much more numerous.  This proves that quality is indeed more important than quantity. Five of our fighters won top places: Two golds and three silvers.  Titica Liviu and Duca Igor have won gold medals and Covali Marius, Plesca Gheorghe and Chiperi David – silver ones.  Only one fighter of our team was left without a prize. Ion Ungurean had two victorious fights, but in the third one he lost and became the fifth in the ranking.

The Championship was held in Bangkok from the 2nd to the 11th of August.  In total, 768 sportsmen from 86 countries took part in it. It is noteworthy that some countries such as Turkey, Australia, Russia were represented by teams of 30 athletes.  And the Republic of Moldova - only by six fighters, and still won five medals!!! Once again proving that we are a small but proud country. We are people with a big heart, and will power.

During the conference the fighters told about the most difficult moments of the championship, and also thanked their relatives, loved ones and all of those who helped and supported them.

Such a result did not go unnoticed by Dorin Damir, the president of the FEA Association and WAK-1F RM. All the participant fighters and trainers received honorary diplomas and awards for such an outstanding result. To be noted that the Thai Boxing Muaythai federation and the WAK-1F RM federation cooperate very closely, and the fighters are an integral part of both structures.

For the athletes themselves, this is a large-scale field for development, and then, those who decide to link their careers with professional sports, have all the chances to get into the KOK ring at the tournaments held in Moldova and abroad. More details in the video.
